How come nobody posts on here?.... like in all the threads.. i mean, im on this other forum (for locals) and there are like 11,000 members, yet only 1/4 or so are active posters... i mean, there are new threads by by the minute, and posts by the seconds..

doesnt this forum have like 27,000 members or so.. and i rarely ever see anything new.. maybe im just not looking in the right places.. but this site seems really slow and 'lurk-y'

am i correct.. or am i just not looking close enough?

I would agree. Most peoples questions can be answered by searching (especially in the eclipse forum) and I would guess is the biggest reason people become a part of it. Not to mention it's free and EVERYONE loves free stuff

Simple solution: When a newbie makes a statement and everyone on here proves them wrong, they stop posting. It's part of the reason I stopped coming on here for so long, I got tired of reading about how mommy and daddy bought their son Johnny a 4G Eclipse GS Automatic and how he wants to convert the drivetrain to an Evo setup and hates the Automatic so he wants a 5-speed but can't mate it to the engine with the supplied bellhousing and wants to reinvent the wheel.

Will you guys PLEASE tell me I'm wrong?

Also I think the other reason is you have people who know NOTHING and throw around useless knowledge against people who DO know something and they get pissed off when proved wrong.

What would you prefer: quantity or quality?

Why waste the space of a new posting when it's already been said.

Everyone should watch this before they post in any forum.

Thanks.

I am not saying don't ask questions, I am simply saying if you don't know what the hell you are talking about, don't BS it.
