Also, lifters are super loud, car sounds like a trunk even after service (Oil,filter,plugs....) anyone else having the same problem....

Mine usually sounds like a truck too! I have an '06 endeavor with a 3.8L v6 that sounds "rough." sometimes it sounds like lifter noise to me. i'm still trying to find out the cause(s), but it seems that the gas i put in (always premium except my first tank) makes a difference. (see my postings under "engine noise") Have you figured out what your problem is yet?
