Where turbomitsu showes u there is a small (orange in sweden) box that holds automatic light (different in different countries) components (5 small relays and electronics) and if remowed u even reset the tripmeter and fuelcomp..Its kind of a part of the ecu. But the ECU is alittle bigger and is lokated behind/beside the glovebox mounted on the outside wall..(behind the front wheel)
Inside the glovebox the left stop can be remowed easily (once u tried) and then pusch at the outside of the right side stop and the glovebox opens compleate and everything inside will fall out on the floor.....

I newer lie!! But sadly i might hawe wrong sometimes!! I think it was 25 years since the last time..haha! Today i spoke to nr 1 Swedish champ in teaching in ecodrive.. Jan Sörvåg... (Only in swedish....) http://www.ecodriving.se/vad/arkiv.asp?lev..._02=06&artnr=31
He told me that hawing 2,8 bar instead of 2,2 gives aboute 0,5 L/100 less in fuel when ecodrive... Not when hawing fun, then u just get a faster more stabile car. This could be one reason why my mileage is better than the moast here.haha
But i still think that's alitle bit of skill inkluded too.... And hawing higher press in modern tyres is not going to give u centerweare... But to low press and high speed might give u centerweare as i wrote in another tread... He has 2,8 in his BMW that is recomender 2,2 like the outy... More noice, and stones and cracks in the pavement feles more but on the otherhand the car is more stabile and secure if u suddenly have to turn for anything on the road...
I looked inside my orange box this spring and then i realized that making any changes for the automatic lightsystem was way to complicated for me.. I wanted my foglights to come on at daytime and halfbeam when turning it on... Just to save my xenonbulbs during bright summers up north... But the easiest way was to use my standard halogenbulbs during summer...haha!! But now it's time to change back to xenon and get daylight at night... December-January is allmoast no daylight here. 22 December is the darkest day of the year.100%no sun. After that days slowly get longer... And 22 of Jun is the longest day with sunshine all night...

Hi. I have a 2003 Outlander, bought in Panama, but have been in trouble finding the VIN Number (Vehicle Identification Number). Can anyone tell me where to look for it on the car? I need it to see if I can get a new cylinder head, so if anyone knows of a good place to get one online, will be appreciated.

THANKS A LOT,

aldohing
