Hi all

I've recently satisfied my long time desire to own a van. The van that caught my eye was a 96 Starwagon Satellite. It runs really well (it has the 2.0 litre engine), by no means neck breaking but its honest.
When i bought it there was some trouble getting it into 4th gear (overdrive) but the people I bought it from were able to fix it before I took delivery of it. However, it seems to have lost the overdrive again.
Does anyone know if this is an easy fix - something i could possibly do myself?
Part of my desire to own an old van was to also learn how to fix it up myself. I guess this is forcing the issue.

Thanks

Hi Newbie...I have a 1991 Starwagon auto with 2 litre motor and it has recently developed the problem of changing to third gear and overdrive. It will change up to third at 63kmh and then into overdrive at 84kmh but will not change itself below these speeds.

I haven/t had a chance to seek help for this problem yet but if I can find out anything, I will keep you posted.

Bob h.
