Having replaced the battery I now have no Compass. Just E's going round and round. I think the temperature may still be correc. Does anyone know how to correct this please

Firstly get a space where you can do a full circle.

Press the reset button next to the compass, and do a full 360 degree circle - as narrow as possible. If it doesn't work, try another circle after pressing the "reset" button.

Please let us know whether it worked.

I am pleased that it helped - sorry I didn't see your post (I mostly visit the Montero / Pajero board). I hope karanita's compass sets the same way.

I figured someone may have a similar problem with other cars so I've been using the search to keep an eye on others questions. It was great to see a reply to a similar problem.
