Hi,

In answer to your post - I don't know because I can't get near the thing to replace it! If you don't mind me asking, (or if anyone else can be of any help?) how do you get to the water pump? Did you have to remove both radiators. (Ours is 2.5 diesel power sterring by the way with pulleys and belts everywhere!!)

When I get to have a closer look I'll let you know about the oil situation. (I know its a bit late, but just out of interest...)

Thanks,

Al

p.s. was your water pump a patent part?

Hi Al
I have just started to remove all the gear on my 94 LWB L400 2.5 turbo diesel, what a nightmare, I live in the country & had my wife pick up pump because she was in town, so I started removing stuff - Intercooler, radiator, pwr steer pump, thermostat housing, belt tensioners etc etc. Do I remove the bottom pulleys to get the cambelt cover off so to get at the last nut on the water pump, If so How does the bottom pulley come off? I guess we will replace the cambelt now as well.

Hope you can shed some light! "I think I willgo back to simple pre 90s vehicles. :liebe011:

thanks
Royal
