nah im talking about the 2004 models EVO VIII. i would love to have an evo but the 2004 wrx sti will smoke a evo they go 0-60 in 4.6 whereas the evo does it in 5 seconds. They sti has more horsepower and troque.

i say they are pretty equal, i mean they both look great, STi is a bit faster then again the STi is also factory modded, but from what i've heard EVO handles better, but all the factory modded EVOS kill the STi lol so i'm goin with EVO

The Evo of course!!!! Car & Driver did a piece on the two cars and if I remember correctly the only thing the WRX had on the Evo was a little more horsepower, but the Evo beat the WRX at every test that they threw at the pair. So that tells me the Evo is a much better car.

Evo all the way if i was going for power and handling.... a nice fq350 or 400 ha ha ha

Sure they ran an Evo VIII against a Lambrogini on top gear last season and the Evo won hands down! the Lambo couldn't handle the corners at all and ended up spinning out.... He drove the Evo round corners using his little finger only.... savage handling on them!!!

Styling i'm on the fence about either or... they are both nice, my brother has a WRX and its lovely, but i'm a misti gal!!! :D

I'd have to say the evo. I liked the STi but after checking out an evo, my thought changed. I have a few friends with STi's and modded wrx's and are impressive but I don't really like there styling as much. They're too tacky looking whereas the evo is a little less flashy, although depends on the color too. Blue and yellow sticks out too much but the black is sharp. Now the STi have more power but isn't the evo lighter?

Since I have an EVO, I'll have to stay EVO. But anyone who told you that an STi will smoke and EVO must be smoking too. It all depends on the driver. :)

evo for trackdays, sti for daily commute.

but if my daily commute involves passing though twisty mountain routes, then gimme the evo :D

leesa: yeah, saw that FQ400 review from top gear, jeremy sure had fun with the car and smoked the murcielago quite nicely. too bad the FQ400 only gets about 4mpg.
