Hi,
having recently purchased an FTO - 1994 GPX, it is leaking coolant.
It seeps out from the bottom of the lower timing cover (just above the oil sump),
I assume this means that water pump may be failing or leaking (or both), Any hints as how I go about checking this, and how to remove the water pump, any gaskets, seals that I should purchase before taking aoart?
any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Giles

to inspect you need to remove the timing belt covers.as for parts if you are unsure of the timing belt history I would change it while your in there doing the water pump as generally you need to remove the belts in order to change the pump.from your description it does sound like the water pump is in need of changing
