Hello:

I have a newspaper route that I throw using my Outlander and there are many stops that I need to get out of my vehicle on my route. Is there any way to disable the constant beeping noise for the seat belt not being buckled. I have to take the seatbelt off at least 10 times each morning during my route in a residential subdivision.

Thanks

If u stop using u're safetybelt chanses are proppably that you'r airbag vill hurt u more than a low speed accident... Swedish outys dont have that reminder.. And i sure could need one.. Sometimes i get lazy but knowing the power of a airbag makes me remember to use safetybelts...

Inside the box with fuses (under the hood on left side) there is a big (in sweden orange) box that hold daylight selections for different countries.. Allso the fuelcomputer and tripmeter gets 00 if it's disconnekted.. So i guess inside that box is the warning for safetybelt.. But it's no box u make any changes without werry proffesional help... And i mean really proffesional.. haha!!! Its working togheter with the ecu so there is no way to take a chance and blow the carcomputer....

if all you want to do is stop the noise then why not fasten the seat belt behind the seat instead.it will keep the buzzer off and still be easily ready for correct usage when required
