Hi all,
have just got me l300 back in the world of the living - just, but have a serious problem with my carb. Just one tweak too many me thinks, unreversable so consequences are - Coughing, spluttering and pops at idle speed. It is fine once you open it out. Wouldnt mind the pops an that except its an auto box an it insits on dying on me when she's in drive and i'm stagnant at a junction an all that - cant keep chewing juice the way she likes at mo - right foot on the gas an brake at the same time- costin a small fortune in juice - specially in uk - feckin 89pence a litre where we are. Yes thats almost 2 bucks a litre in the USA - an nealrly 3 bucks a litre in AU. Consider yerselves lucky!!!!!

It is a solex mikuni 32-35 with all the trimmings for an auto box.
The engine is the 4g63 with a sohc head.
If anybody has a carb fitting these discriptions and you want to sell it - get in touch!!!!

Am willing to pay any shipping costs for a decent carb - ie . one that has been reconned or one thats in working order off a workin engine! - dont post or email me something thats gone green with fur or hasnt seen any petrol or gas for more than 3 months!!! also if you live near the coast I dont want anything that hastn seen juice for more than 3 weeks!!!

my thanks
