Am experiencing slight loss of coolant from the Head gasket dripping on to the p/steering bracket, right front of engine (timing belt end). 1.8 GLXi 1992, Petrol, manual g/box
Assume I will eventually need to change the gasket, but no oil in water or water in oil, or loss of compression. Am planning to check head bolts to ensure they are tight. What is correct torque value, and any suggestions?

According to the manual the 1.8 litre head studs are tightened to 7.5 Kgm or 54 ft.lb

starting from the -
exaust side next to no4 cyc
then inlet no1 cyc
