Be gentle with the flames please!

I'm trying to figure out what Lancer (MX or Mivec) will best fit a full Evo 5 bodykit. I've been told 1998 is the year to look at.

The Subaru NZ forums said 'an MX will have fitting problems, a Mivec will fit it perfectly', whereas the Mitsubishi NZ forums have said 'an MX will have no problems at all!'

So which one will fit the full Evo 5 bodykit with the least modifications?

And... please explain everything in language a blonde ditz could understand!
