Hi all,

Althought my Airtrek is sold, but still want too share it with you guys.

poping noise was came off from the front springs,
put another layer of insulators to the front springs, the noise will be gone.

I've tried Tein coilovers on my Airtrek too, it was a little bumpier than
Kyb+stock springs, but no noise at all.

Cheers.

The pupping noice from the front susp comes from the head of the (3) bolts that holds the upperside of front damper.. The flat head is one mm to thick and sometimes the spring get in contact with the head.(remowe one mm from the head and the noice is gone). Its well known here in sweden and mitsu has a servicemessage at all mitsu workshops and mitsu will pay for fixing it. But it's not 100% of all outlanders the problem showes at..
