Drives: 1992 Delica Exceed TurboDiesel Auto
My 1992 Delica 4X4 turbo diesel automatic (4D56 engine, V4AW2 box) is giving me "A/T temp" warning in normal urban drive. Everything seems to be ok, gearbox behaviour, torque converter slipping, ATF cooling system (oil to water + oil to air), gearbox strainer, new ATF fluid. I suspect the temperature switch to be faulty. I checked it with an accurate thermometer and it goes on at 85 degrees celcius. Does anybody know at what ATF temperature is the "A/T temp" warning light supposed to go on?
