Hello. I'm trying to install a remote starter for my 04 Outlander, but I'm trying to find a way to accomplish this without going through the immobilizer.

Is there any way to bypass the immobilizer because it's very costly to get it done by someone when I can do it myself? (i have experience just to clarify things up :) )

Anywhos, thanks if you can help me with this dilemma.

EDIT: I saw this immobilizer bypass on the internet and I was wondering if it works:

According to a salesman, including the remote starter itself, installation, the "special" key...

A ludicrous $600 CDN.
