I had just got an 03 EVO VIII it idles hard is there some suggestions or should i try and replace the oil and plugs and see if thats a fix

Has the car had aftermarket cams installed? If the lobes on the cams are higher (higher lift) and the duration is longer, you will experience a very rough idle.
