Hi everybody

I'm hoping somebody can tell recomend a good winch for my Shogun, I have not owned it long but really like it and plan to do off road stuff. I have looked on the net but only come up with one firm PWS who seem to even have a picture of a Shogun with a winch, probably because its all plastic in front (maybe).

Thanks for any advice

Cheers Buzzkiller, I've come to the conclusion that Shogun drivers don't have winches, u need something bit more solid to bolt it on to, like a Landy or Jeep.

Hi Trev

Have you looked here www.pajerouk.co.uk
there are plenty of serious paj's and shoguns off roaders here with the club that have winches fitted.

Where about in herts you from?

Thanks Mark its a great site with loads of info and knowledgable people, just what I have been looking for. I'm new to all this 4x4 stuff as I bought my Shogun for towing and it sat on the driveway for months at a time not moving, then I took it out one day and for a spin (without towing) and realised its pretty good without 21/2 tonnes on the back, now I'm hoping to do some green laning.

I'm in Bishops Stortford over in East Herts.

I think I may end up joining the club in the near future, however it seems alot of the activities are further south and I need to get my mud tyres and some other mods done first, then practice abit on my local green lanes. Thanks for the invite.
