Hi to u all im new on here.

I have a h reg (mk2) shogun i bought it as a non runner and found the fault to be a faulty ecu,i found a second hand one from a breakers and put it on,now it was trying to start but would not so i towed it as the previous owner told me it had been sitting for a couple of months!!

Hey presto it started but was running really rough?i done a test on it and got a few codes up one was crankshaft sensor but i was told i do not have one on my engine?and the other was oxygen sensor? and other was coolant temp sensor?

I reset the ecu and different codes came up which were air flow sensor intake air sensor coolant temp sensor and barametric pressure sensor?

Wat i would like to ask is now is, if i tow start the car it will start,it will not start on the key from cold, but after i tow it and it warms up it will start all day on the key but still runs badly poor idle and it stinks of petrol, could this be the coolant temp sensor??as i was reading up on them and i have same symptoms?and could this be why all the other sensors are coming up as being faulty? ;)
