Drives: 1991 GTO Twin Turbo
So is there some magic trick one has to perform to get the rear tires off of a GTO? The rear tire went flat, and now I can't get it off. The front one's come off fine. I was thinking they may be rusted on, but I used some WD40, but that didn't work. I tried reading the car manual, but it's pretty tough to read Japanese. Any ideas? Thanks

nice to no it wasent just mine

i took me about 10 mins to get 1 of my rear wheels off,
after removing all the wheel nuts i had to keep turning the wheel and kicking the tyre until it became unstuck ,, stuborn soab.

That is what i had to do, i had to get behind the back tire and kick the back of it. but it came off after a few good kicks. but just try to get the brake rotors off, man that is hard when if u dont know the are pressed on

i had the same trouble with my expo some years back. after that i just kept a rubber mallet in there, but after a light emery papering, i put a light coat of grease on the contact surfaces and didn't have that problem again; and it's been at least 11 years since. it seems that none of these dealers or service stations use grease anymore to prevent that, and i don't understand it....
