I recently traded my Eclipse for a 2006 Endeavor LS. I'd like to replace the factory stereo with something that (1) integrates Sirius radio without using an FM transmitter, and (2) allows ipod functionality. A couple questions:

(1) Has anyone installed, or had someone install for them (I typically prefer to leave this sort of thing to the professionals) an after-market in a 2006 LS? Do you just have to cut the dash piece, or can I just not find the replacement adaptor?

(2) I've noticed a couple posts showing double-din size, touch-screen systems. Crutchfield's says only size code E stereos will fit into the vehicle. Is there something different with the 2006 from the 2005 vehicles posted, to where I can't put a double-din system into a 2006?
