ok, so this just started happing recently (week ago).

when i shift into second gear, and start accelarating, my ebrake light comes on, and then when i go to shift into third it goes away, and when i get into third it comes back on around 3k rpm's, and it happens every now and then when i get into fourth also

any idea as to why its doing this?

Hi,

Check your brake pads. If they are worn down and the cals. are all the way out the fluid in the master cyl. goes down and the light goes on. It happened on my 96 3KGT I replaced the pads and it went away. I thought there was something wrong with the Ebrake switch at first and then I figgered it out. I may have seen it in the manual I don't remember.
