Hi All,
I've Mitsubishi Chariot Grandis 1999 imported from Japan. Currently I'm having a problem with MMCS. It happen when I change a battery. System keep rebooting when moving but when the car static, all function working fine. This happen when I put CD come with a car. When car stop, the system wont reboot. It is funny because this is a 1st time P phase the problem. 3 different screen appear one after another, 1 - normal MMCS blue screen, 2 - normal MMCS blue screen with japanese message ('means Loading in Progress...Please Wait') 3 - Normal MMCS screen with date and time (in japanese except number). Anyone haveng same problem or know how to solve the problem. For me, if i can disable navigation system and let the rest working already sufficient enough.

Hi,

I was just wondering if you have worked out how to solve your mmcs problem.

I have just brought a Grandis and after taking out the battery I am now having the same problem. My disk have a crack in it so I thought that was the problem, But after reading your comments I realise there must be more to it than that.

Hi Mnor

I sent u a messg earlier, following another thread.
Now, you could be the one who might help me.

I have a Chariot 2.4GDi - could be just the same model you own.
My problem: the MMCS fitted in my car has been out of use for more than a year. This happened when i replaced the battery without backup, causing a system reset. But my car did not come with the system CD when i bought it - i.e. there's NO DISC in the system reader under the driver seat.

Looks like you do have the system disc in your car!

Is it possible if i request your kindness & generosity and do me a favour?

-> I wish to get a copy of the system CD !!

I wonder if it's possible to make a copy of the CD using CD writer under PC Windows system?? If not, perhaps we can meet up and i borrow the disc from you just to reboot the MMCS in my car - if you don't mind.

I'm in Johor Bahru.

Also, i have many other problems with my Chariot - after 1 & half year of ownership. It's no longer pleasant to drive it.

Kindly reply.

Regards,
CSL
