I just try to change a new CD player, however when I done it, it didn't working! and i fited that old one back, still no working~~~ i don't know why??

by the way, the power light is on, but cannot switch on.

hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

make sure all of your connections are perfect. especially the 12v+ and ground

I had the exact same problem but my face plate didnt light up and u could only eject a cd and it worked i checked every wire and they seemed to be connected pretty **** good. My fuses and everything our fine but i tried to find a solution but nobody seems to know. Please somebody fill me in on some info. that knows or had this problem before and found a solution A.S.A.P. i would appreciate it greatly.

cd player: Sony X-plode
model: CDXGT71W

My car: 94' Plymouth Colt 2dr.

actually i was told my wiring could have a short in the dash and to rewire everything with brand new wire and check all the wires and voltages.
