hi i need some help, a friend of mine has just brought a 1995 Mitsubishi Delica and its really good, apart from one little problem...the sunroof above the driver will open' but when you try to close it i just moves forward and back a cm (1/2")or so and wont close. has anyone got any idea whats causing this or even better how to fix it so it will work properly again? i could just pull the fuse i think but would rather fix it.

cheers any help or advice will be apreciated.

My '95 Delica Exceed does the same, I find that if you and make sure you are not driving while you attempt this, but hold the close button, then manually push in the close direction until it has gone past the point (about two inches) and it will close itself.
I'll investigate some more when I have the time, but I think it will be only a dirty contact or similar issue.
