Hi, I'm new to the site and I have a 2002 spacestar. It has a mitsubishi radio in it which has controls for a cd player but doesnt have one so I assume a cd changer can be added on. Just wondering if anyone knows where do I get a changer that will work with it or alternatively, I do have an old cd changer but it doesnt have the connection lead that is required so does anyone know if I can use it and get a lead with a universal connection, would that fit or should I just get a new cd changer altogether. Sorry bit of a ramble. Hope someone can help me.

generally the cables are very expensive which leaves 3 options:
1)buy the cable as long as your sure the radio is compatable
2)buy a new changer that is compatable with your head unit
3)buy a changer that is fm modulated so it can work on any radio as the cd changer taps in via a radio preset and does not need changer cables.

you never stated what your head unit was or what your changer was in order to determine compatability.some are phillips but there are different ones that were fitted from new
