So as I was trying to get to work today, my Oil Pressure Gauge went all the way to the right and stayed there, only to come down after i had the truck off for a minute. I called my mechanic, and he said that the gauge was either shot, or the oil pressure release valve was stuck, either way, try not to drive it unless you have to. Okay, so, Im taking the day off, thats not a bad thing :D
Does anyone know where the location of that valve is? I can find it on my Saab, but not on my truck. I really dont want to blow off the oil filter or do something even worse to the engine, any help would be greatly appreciated.
