Hi all again, I have bought a car and have discovered that there is no key to take the 4 locking wheel nuts off, any suggestions on how to take them off? I have tried whacking a socket over them but there is a metal sleeve which runs around the actual locking nut, any reply is much appreciated, regards ian

depending on the pattern of the lock, you can use a screwdriver with an appropriate head. Just take the metal part out of the driver itself and attach it to a ratchet or drill

I have a tool that I use. It's a flip-socket with a pin and a hammer. I hammer it onto the nut, then use an extension and a 1/2" impact wrench.
