QUOTE(4G63Attack @ Jan 23 2007, 06:49 AM) Vs. the Japanese EVO or the Euro EVO 320HP  I apologize for little off-topic question. Is this the only difference between European and US EVO, or there's more to it?

QUOTE(evulevo06 @ Jan 19 2007, 07:36 PM) i just recently got the evo ix special edition and the difference between the 8 and the 9 is that the 9 has a mivec engine and a slightly bigger turbo. the 8s had 271 horse and now the 9s have 286hp and 289 tq the only thing different from the regular 9 and the 9 mr is that the mr has a 6 speed tranny, blistien shocks and a few lil thinks like boost gauge, lip on the spoiler, bbs rims, and hid lights, but i got the special edition so i got all of that except the six speed and shocks. to me goin to the mr wasnt worth the extr 4 grand. As a owner of an Evo IX MR Special Edition, the other differences between a Evo IX and a MR are, Aluminum roof and front fenders. The 6 speed is a close ration 6 speed with 6th gear being an overdrive. The SE version of the MR includes the optional items of the front lip spoiler (Apperance Group) and the wicker bill (Zero Lift Kit). In addition, the SE gets anthricite Lancer Evolution badges on the back as well as the red MR. The final difference in the SE is the red stitching on the Alecantra and leather Recaro seats. Peace, John
