I have owned a Grandis now since September 2004, and it runs like a beauty. I have 5 children from 5 through to 13, and they all fit.

The only negetive I have are:- 4 speaker stereo - very hard to hear in the very back of the car without hurting the ears of those in the centre row, and a minimal complaint of having lost 2 expensive hub caps (and then deciding it was cheaper to buy a set of mags.)

Inexpensive to run, a little under powered when you have a truck load of children (but then you would expect that with any car carrying around 400kgs of extra payload!.)

Other than its futuristic design, the invec transmission is smooth.Mivec engine doesnt disappoint...handling wise is good for a mini van.I rather prefer to drive at least 4 adult than alone.

The initial pickup from 1st gear rather disappointing tho,but hey..this is not a sport car.

Go for it
