Having a problem with an 02 Lancer OZ Rally. Wife went out, went to start the car after an appointment and it just cranks. Won't turn over, I know lots of info! Since the car has factory keyless entry (which sometimes locks the doors by itself for no reason) does the keyless entry also have a built in engine kill in it? I have ran into this problem with other cars is why I ask. If so how do you "reset" it. If it does not have this feature in the keyless entry then I will go back and start checking fuel problems. But I figure I better ask 1st!! THANK YOU!!

Update, after spending the weekend running checks here is what I have come up with. One coil pack is not firing. Code reader shows faulty Cam Position sensor. Replaced the sensor and the coil pack is still not firing. I have tested the coil packs they are both good. The only conclusion I can draw is a bad ECU. The signal wire between the coil pack and the ECU is good, it is just not sending the signal to fire. Has anyone ran into anything like this before. I am not wanting to replace the ECU but not sure where else to go!!
Thanks

have you checked out the crank shaft sensor? Check for 5v reference at the coil pack when cranking the engine.
