Drag racing to street racing has always been in my familys blood. my mom was the biggest drag racing fan i ever heard of. well when i got my car, she still had her 65 mustang locked up. i wanted to race her in two races. her kind, a drag, then mine on the interstate to interstate.

1st race was the drag. went to our local drag strip and lots of people came to see this event. we waited untill it was time and then we took off. in the end, her time was 9.89 and mine was 9.96. mine is faster now but whatever.

2nd race was getting onto the interstate and exiting off at the next one. it was in rush hour traffic so it was very amusing but scary. almost hit a car but somehow missed by an inch or less. well i had her beat in that one. lets just say i got off and went to burger king and was about to finish my order before she got there.

gotta love her for showing me the way.

pretty sweet that your mom raced you, however, a 65 mustang has A LOT more value than 96 eclipse. maybe its about equal money-wise, but would have a lot more sentimental value if she still has it.

i guess what im trying to say is that if i was driving that through rush hour traffic, i wouldnt be in the biggest of all hurries, and she probably didnt push it as far as she could have
