Like 2 days ago, this kid cody was saying how my car is a piece of **** and he could kick my ****. well i told him, lets race 2moro. well, i went to work to get sumthng, and guess who i see, cody. i chase after him and few mins later, we are right beside each other. time to race. he counts 1,2,3 then we take off. i have a truck in my lane so i wait till cody passes me then i get behind him and take off past him, cutting in front of him. its rush hour traffic so it was crazy. i zig zaged in between 4 cars to win at the first light and he is like 3 or 2 cars back. i won that then i turn into the bowling alley about to go home. he comes in there as well. he said that was nothing so lets go again. fine i say. but this time i say first one to the next red light which is maybe a mile or more down. he says fine. i take off first then he comes behind. i let him in front of me so i can fool around with him even more. once im behind i just take off and once again there is nothing but traffic. this time i zig zagged in between 6 cars and cody did sum but once i got to the light FIRST, he was right behind me. there for i won TWICE.

today at skool he proclaims that i didnt win, and my car is a piece of ****. im just like wutever man. who got to the lights first? me so i win. he is like no there was traffic so it dont count. a race should be head to head with no traffic so he says. thats fine but no fun for ppl that can zig zag and take corner at 120mph. he wants to race at lunch to settle it. im like no its not worth it. if you cant be man enough to say that i won then whats the point of racing again. i would win again and he would deny it again. i told him when he is man enough to admit he lost, then i would give him a rematch. all i gotta say is who got to the lights first and he is like naw man naw.

tell me thats not stupid or what?

well, first of all, you do own a dsm, so it is a piece of $h|t... if you compare it to a honda.

second, as long as you finish first, no matter what the conditions are, you win. If you are ahead when it's over, you win.

First I would just like to say that racing in traffic isn't exactly the smartest idea. Try and do so with minimal traffic and on a highway or something.

Secondly, your car is a piece of ****, just like mine is a piece of ****. Its a DSM car...they can't be trusted. Especially compared to his Acura [or any other Japanese car for that matter].

However...DSM cars do own on all those Mugen boys. :)

What ya mean piece of ****?

And yes I know the curse word you blotted out :)

If you are talking N/A performance yes they have small balls but they can hold their own if you put the right mods like a race cam etc... into the motor, in fact there is a guy by the name of Billy Mack in Canada tweeked his to do 14's in the 1/4 mile with no turbo no bottle :)

And what do you mean by trusted?

If you are talking safety the D.O.T says the only weak spot is that they cannot take T-Bone hit very well due to the weak doors caving in on ya upon impact.

The only reason that I would say a Honda is more reliable is the fact that they used to be able to build engines and transmissions that last FOREVER. Case in point: I worked on a '92 Honda Accord when I worked for them that had 240K+ miles on it. What's the last Mitsu that you've seen with that many miles?

How old are you Spyda ??? Street racing is not cool period. Even on heavy traffic. Do you even think of what would happen if you hit someone going over the speed limit??
or running a stop light ??? what would you do if you killed a family in a minivan with kids?? i ask you what would you do?

take it to the track, drag strip, and road course. If you are going over 100mph do you know how long is it going to take to come to a full stop?

Yeah, but the problem is with older Japanese pickups is that the frames rust out and they split in half!

havent been here in a week and everone posts sumthing. anyways im 17 going to 18 soon. ok yea i think im aware of wut could happen. but if you want to be like that then wut if i didnt hit anybody like i didnt. them im fine. we could argue would could happen or wut couldnt. it wont make a difference. point is, nothing happened so quit ur worrying. if something does happen, im man enough to take full responsibility even if it leads to my own death.

the drag strips around here r closed.wont be open till a good year again or so. so everyone takes it to the street, not just me.

But are you "man" enough to be able to feel the responsibility for the death of a family in a mini-van?

You are not a man for doing what you do, you are a child.

^^^I agree to a point, yea his racing in traffic was not very bright and I don't wanna come off as a holy roller :) I done some things I should not have done and still do but I at least try very very hard not to do dirt in traffic and surface streets are a BIG OL NO NO in my book!

But back to what this subject is all about Hay man you won now we gonna trust you not to not do that no more because if a boo boo happens the cops lawmakers come down hard on all of us pocket rocket owners :)

Just a few months ago the CHP got 5 million screw us out here with random checks and popp'n hoods and stuff in fact they even stole some of our cars though law.

Again I ain't no saint I did and still do dirt but I try to stay clear of others on the road.

I will say this and that I have been seeing a lot of people riding side by side when I come up behind em and stay that way so I can't pass em!!!

Mostly SUV owners and what seems to be (Old fogies that probably did dirt back their day but walk on water now :) ) think I drive tooo fast and I'm only about 1-3 over what they are doing and they are speeding tooo!!! :)

They seem to think my wing or fast looking car is really going 100+ and I must be slowed down or the world is gonna end OH MY GOD!!!! Geez Christ!!! :(

My point is we getting a bad rapp from a few bad apples and old fogies (Not saying you a bad apple) and we gotta walk on water even when we do dirt.

CAN I GET AN AMEN???
