I have a 91 colt with a 4g15 SOHC. I was driving down the road one day and i was doing about 40 mph and i pressed on the gas. the car sounded like when u hit a ton of grass with a lawnmower. it sounded like it was dying....it didnt give me trouble till i got home. i shut off the car and tryed to start it and it ran for like 2 minutes then died. i tryed to start it again, but all that happened was the ignition clicked but thats it.....currently have the alternator out and am getting a new one....anyone know the possible problem?

I had the same problem but the next morning mine started right up like She better do b4 i beat the **** out of her.so i had this problem b4 acn any1 help us out?
