So my brother is finally getting his first car, a 1994 Saturn SL2. So, because we know nothing about Saturns, I look up some stats and tell him what I find. As it turns out, (not unexpectedly) the Saturn has slightly more torque and weighs 300 lbs less. Upon hearing this, he proceeds to gloat about his car being better/faster than mine like thats some huge accomplishment. He could be getting a ****ing scooter and it could still outrun my Galant. My only saving grace is that Im a much better driver and he cant drive a stick for his life, so that should keep him from wanting to race for a while. So my question is which car would win in a race, assuming driver skill is about equal? Neither car is modded, both are bone stock. My hunch is that the SL2 is quicker, but I would like some opinions, if for no other reason to assure myself that racing him when hes a competent driver isnt a good idea. Ill list the stats that I found also:

92 Galant, Base: fwd, 103hp, 116lb/ft torque, 2601lbs, manual trans, driver who doesnt suck

94 Saturn SL2: fwd, 124hp, 122ft/lb torque, 2325lbs, manual trans, driver who doesnt know what a sedan is

Any input is appreciated.
