Hello, I am a proud new owner of a Galant ES 2007 and I have a big question regarding the center console unit that I hope someone has the answer.
The Galant ES comes with the “High mount Center LCD audio display with clock.” But to be quite honest, this console is too basic for me.

I am interested in replacing the Galant ES center console with the center console from the Galant Ralliart model. I know it is not an official option but I wanted to know if it is possible. There are 2 versions and I would like to know if either or both would work.

1. The Railart standard comes with a “High mount Center Color LCD audio display with clock, outside temperature, driving computer, calendar, digital compass, and electronic Timing and Alarm Control System (ETACS).”

2. The Ralliart GPS (this is the one i prefer) comes with a “High mount Center 7” Color touch screen for audio, navigation, information (clock, outside temperature, driving computer, maintenance reminders and calendar), plus electronic Timing and Alarm Control System (ETACS).”

Thanks in advance,

should be simple, just purchase the top piece and the faceplate of the one you want. only reason to buy the faceplate is for one that's black instead of silver.

the top pops right off, just lift up on it just above the a/c vents. and the faceplate comes off by pulling out from the bottom of it.
