The brass bracket is what causes all the racket!!!
To remove the bracket, just use a 10mm socket to remove the one nut that holds it in place.

I think the bracket has a white plastic thingy that cushions the guide against the bracket, but mine dissappeared from a previous repair??? (I had to bust a McGyver and use some cardboard strips and good old duct tape to cushion the noise.
Adjust this plasting thing (if you have it) so that there is no room for the window to move when you push out on it.
***note*** be carefull when removing the window controls. The holes where the mounting screws go tend to break very easlily. If you happen to break any here is an easy fix. Go to an auto parts store and buy some of this stuff ( cant remember the name right now) Its like super duper crazy glue:

mix the solution together and apply it to where the screws go. Put the screws back on and let sit for a few minutes (make sure to apply pressure so that is sets at the right height. And your good):
