I read a few people say that Armor All will dry a dash out due to the silicone in it. Is this true, and if so, what should I use?

Thanks!

Armor All is designed for plastic and rubber and will not dry out your interior. It can be used on leather, but it's not specifically designed for it.

Armor All Leather Care Protectant products are perfect for use on your treated leather. Our specially formulated leather products condition your leather, whether in your car or house, helping to keep your leather looking like new. These products, however, are not designed for use on suede, buckskin or fabric. They are also not designed for use on bench or cycle seats due to slipperiness. If you have any doubts about a specific surface, it's always wise to test an inconspicuous area first.

Use Armor All leather wipes for the best result.

Can I use Armor AllŪ Protectant products on my dashboard; will it cause cracking?
---
Armor AllŪ Protectant products are safe to use on your car's dashboard, and will not cause cracking. In fact, Armor AllŪ Protectant products are specially formulated to guard against UV damage (like cracking and discoloration). Whether you prefer sprays, wipes or gel, our Protectants can help keep your dashboard looking like new.

I no longer use Armorall full strength (dilute it with water 1:1) on the interior. I find it to be too greasy and int he long run, it usually attracts more dirt.

If you do use armorall, be aware that it has been found to actually strip the surface coating on the radio faceplate (a couple people have noted that the dealer will not cover this under any warranty if you use armor all).

For the exterior, people have raved about zaino, but I think it's a little too much work.

After a wash, I like to use Turtle wax Liquid Clay and Ice wax. you can apply it in sublight, it does not leave white dust and it's easy to use!
