whats goin on

i have got a completely stock 1995 ts magna.

as far as i know the stud pattern is 114.3x5, i can get a cheap set of 17" Ford BA series 1 wheels off a mate, (same stud pattern) but they are 8' wide, just wondering if anyone knows how wide i can go,,,?, dont wanna go buy the wheels and pay 800bucks for tyres and have them not fit.

and body kits what fits and what doesnt? any recommendations for kits?,, any vrx style kits by any chance?,,
my brother works in spare parts at a major comp. so its no problem getting the bits. just want to make sure i get the right ones.

any info would be awesome
