Hi guyz am trying to change my Mitsubishi Celeste' engine.
What kind of engine should i go for?
Am kinda stuck HELP!!

Hiya Mate!

Got a Celeste 1600ST- My head gasket went, and I thought it might be worthwhile just swapping the engine: I am told that a 4G37 (from 1800cc Mitsu Space Wagon or Galant) will swap straight in, using existing manifolds/gearbox. Make sure to get a pre 1991 motor with carbs... There may however be more parts in Kenya, but parts are real hard to come by in Britain... After finally tracking down a 'complete' engine in the U.K., I took delivery of a real sh*t box of a bare engine which was no good to me... Subsequently the engine went back to the supplier. I'm just getting the head gasket replaced on my trusty 4G32 motor.

The whole transplant idea was a real [I]'headache'!!!
