Hi All,

Letting you know there is another Nimbus owner here. 2002 MY03 manual.

Love this car! I frequently have to carry 5-6 (young) adult passengers, sometimes 300kms. Everybody fits with leg room and for me its like sitting in my loungroom watching wide screen TV (VERY CAREFULLY!).

We've got a trip to Adelaide (around 3000km round trip) coming up with a 15ft caravan (around a tonne). Interested to see how it goes. Fuel consumption goes down the toilet when I'm towing a trailer (600kg). Anyone else had experience towing?

I am also looking for a manual either hardcopy or CD. Any ideas? :57:

G'day!
I have just become the proud owner of a 1999 Nimbus UG and am very pleased with it. I drove it home to Sydney from Queensland (950 klms) and found it to be very comfortable and good on the road, with excellent economy (provided I could keep my foot off that toey little accelerator :)

However one problem -- I need to replace the dog-chewed seatbelts for the back seats (not an issue in Qld where cars do not have to pass safety checks as here in NSW).

Does anyone know if any belts from other models or makes fit my Nimbus ?

Thanks !

I think I've answered my own question. I just received a manual on CD from UK ebay site and I've traced through the procedure for changing the timing belts. Very impressive with short bits of text accompanied on the side by detailed drawings. All in pdf format so very zoomable and printable to have on hand and get greasy.

Search for "MITSUBISHI SPACE STAR WAGON RUNNER ULTIMATE manual cd" or browse "pegasus-rising" items.

ive got a Chariot Grandis Super_Exceed, i think its the only one of its kind in australia as its a personal import. But If you Need parts for your lancer/galant VR4 or RVR or pajero, My dad has a few front cuts, engines, panels for sale at his garage. We also have parts for nissans, toyotas and other Jap cars. Oh and glenalpen, the laws in SA are that selling second hand seatbelts are illegal, but it might be different in NSW, try going to REPCO and get a new pair or check with your local Regestration office for the rules about seat belts.

There is a place in Blacktown (Sunnyholt Rd) that sells seatbelt related parts called Littles Child Restaints (Google has all details). I have found them very helpful
