Go to a junkyard and rip apart an old 90-99 eclipse turbo. All the parts are transferable, I think all you have to do is get a custom downpipe done.

No. You have to take the turbo off of a 1g/2g eclipse turbo.

The kits won't work because either:
A: They are meant as an upgrade
B: They are meant for the 420a chrysler engine.

No you can't get a kit for under $2000. And if you do, it's going to be a piece of shit.

Do what bobthecow said and get all the turbo components off a 1g/2g turbo eclipse and put them on your car. The ones that you still need get custom-made.

This may be a stupid question but i'm going to ask anyway..... even though this is the first kit i've seen online...... whats the use of buying that if you still have to cut certain things in the kit to make it fit?

it just comes with 90% of the components and you don't need to be busting around the junkyard to find all of them. Helps keep your hands clean until you go put it on your own car.
