Hi. I've got an eclipse 95. the s/n is 4Y259153 A. The Model # is MR158590. There were additional numbers on the side they were M5x8MMMAX & 57CWYD. I don't know exactly which you need. Hopefully you will be able to help me out with the code. Thanks

Kris, I have a 97 Montero and have been living w/o my radio for months (battery died) and am finally trying to do something about it.

Here are my numbers:

Probably more numbers than you need.

In order to enter in your radio code you need to use the first four radio presets on your stereo. for example your code is 7754. then you would enter the following:




( 1) ( 2) ( 3) ( 4)

Press 7x 7x 5x 4x

After you have entered your code you must now press "cd" button or if you have a tape player you press (tape) button. If for some reason you have tryed to enter the code more than three times and is incorrect the stereo will show "off" on the display. What you do in this case you leave your key on the "on" or "acc" position this will reset your stereo and "code" should appear on the screen.

(If your code has a 0 digit what you do is press the preset button until the zero rolls over.) :beer:
