Make sure that after you enter the code, you press the TAPE button. If that doesn't work, try pressing the CD button instead. That is sort of like the Enter or Return button on a keyboard.

If you have reached your limit of attempts, just pull the fuse for the radio and plug it back in. That will reset it and you'll have 3 more attempts.

This sounds about right... by pressing either the cd or tape button depending on what ever application you have. and in order to reset the radio im affraid its not that simple... you have to let the car sit with the key on the on position for about an hr. to let the stereo reset itself....

I am in Irving Texas. Somebody hit my car wouldnt claim responsibility so | had to take my car to a place that would lend me a car. They gave me a 1999 galant. Is there anyway I can find the radio code. My husband refuses to help me remove the radio to find code. I only have vin number :beer:

I just moved to Germany and when I received my car, the radio said "code". I've had my car since 2002 and have never seen this before. I bought it used so obviously I don't know the code. It's a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage. The VIN # is JA3AY26C31U052340. The only numbers I could find on the radio without taking it out are FA05669A. It was etched into the bottom of the radio. P901 is on the front of the radio...any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! please email to smgray18@aol.com
