Need a code for a 2001 Montero.

I'm not sure if this thread is still active, but I need a code for the stereo in my 2001 Montero. I disconnected the battery cables and now need to supply a code. I do not have the original cards that came with the car.

The model no. is MR563520
The serial no. is 99F56956

Happy July 4th!

Taking the kids to the drive-in tonight....to see Wall E! Going to open up the back of the Montero and have a great picnic....

EXCEPT, we got the vehicle back after some repairs to the axle after sliding into a curb (don't ask, I'm a dope), and reset the clock. But we didn't realize until this afternoon the radio needed to be reset! I bought the vehicle in 2006, no radio code to be found anywhere :unsure:

I call Mitzi and you guessed it, they are closed for the holiday!!! Grrr!

Can anyone please, please, PLEASE give me the code?

I was proud of myself for getting the dash apart so I could get the info on top of the radio....and then 'in observance of the holiday'....oh duh, that's right!
