Hi All,

I have a 94 TS Magna V6 Auto. Just had a full service and tune up etc etc It previosuly had an idling problem, it was running too low and conked out at traffic lights, when parking and was just all round annoying.

Took it in and they diagnosed it as the Idle Speed Control motor being faulty. They replaced it and reset the base idle. Now however, it seems to be revving to high. Whilst in D and stopped it idles at 1100rpm and when in N or P it creeps up near 1500 - 2000rpm.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem or if there are any ideas whats happening???

Thanks!!

Hi there Magneto

I have a manual 1992 Mitsubishi Nimbus with a 2.4L 16V engine with the same problem. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you - I just wanted to know if you had solved your problem and if so, what did you do.

Cheers
