does anyone know if a license plate is required on the front of your car in texas? ive been all over google and didnt find much. If it is required, how often is it enforced. there are a few vehicles around here which have no front plate, and I would love to remove the plate from the front of my car, if its not illegal of course.

If your car is registered in Texas, you need both tags.

If your car is registered somewhere else you follow the laws for that state.

If you take off or lose the front tag, you can expect a ticket.
Maybe not right away, but sure enough you will get one.
