Hi I'm a newbie on here!
Was wondering if anyone can help?
My L200 has been holding back under accelaration at about 3000rpm and struggles to reach 4000rpm.
Was told to check the boost pressure as this being to high causes the injection pump to retard thus causing a feeling of lost power!
I connected a gauge yesterday and it is boosting to nearly 2 bar on hard accelaration in 3rd and 4th gears. I'm sure this is way to much!!
Can anyone shed any light on adjusting this?
Thanks

if you still have warranty on a 2004 l200 see your dealer.they have a ecu rewrite for overboost issues and can adjust the turbo as well at NO COST.the entire procedure should take between 1 and 1 1/2hrs total.they can electronically read boost pressures and adjust as needed.good luck
