i have a 93 mirage s 1.5l manual 5 speed. couple of questions.

1.} any time i start my car it idles like crap up and down never a constant idle takes off and runs fine just idles bad.

2.} came across a good deal on some front and rear upper and lower strut stabilizers for about 30 bucks is it worth it? will they do any good?

3.} juice box on ebay do they work or are they crap.

performance suggestions don't really want to swap engines. but i want to improve my horse power and handling.

1) Are you due for plugs, wires, cap etc? Look to the basics first.

2) Doubt it

3) Crap

RPW (Racing Performance Works) makes aftermarket headers and manifolds for the 4g15.

Here's some things I put on my car and how well they worked...

1. Tornado/Air vortex gen. - No. Waste of money. Fact I took it off. and burned it.
2. APC Short Ram Intake - Yes, but performance only barely noticable.
3. 2.25" Cat-Back - Again, barely " " " etc.
4. RPW Headers - YES. Very loud, but very worth the performance!
5. Juice Box - Yes (about the same as apc and cat-back together), but if you plan on using Haltech or Motec or etc, then don't put the crap on.
6. 210cc injectors - Yes, effect like the rpw's, but your wallet will feel it if you know what I mean.

Soon I'll be installing a fuel pressure regulator to fully utilize the larger injectors.

About #1, take DFBonnetts' suggestion.

Hope this helps.

Very possible. Spray carb cleaner in various areas and listen for an increase in RPM.
