I have a 2006 Endeavor and the radio will only pick up four or five radio stations. I had an after market DVD player installed with an FM modulator, but the DVD installers tell me that with the modulator off, there should be no interference with the radio signal. I had the local dealer replace the radio unit, and nothing better with the signal...any ideas??

I have an '04 and I moved at the same time I bought my car, so i really have no basis for comparison...but I've always felt that the Endeavor gets very poor radio reception, with lots of static...like it needs a better antenna or something...
I believe they sell "antenna bypasses" or something like that, for satellite radio and those kind of things. Basically the antenna plugs into the bypass and then the bypass plugs into the antenna input in the stereo. It eliminates the static becuase it doesnt rely on an fm signal. I don't know the details about them, but its worth some research.

Thanks TLindh373 for the advice. I'll look into that.

Thats the one they sell at BestBuy for Sirius

I think I'm going to get sirius this weekend, has anyone else had Satellite radio installed? I'd be really curious to see some pics and where you mounted it.
