Hey All,

I just got a intank Walbro Fuel Pump installed. Mine being a 1999 4G15 DOHC Mirage this upgrade has made a lot of difference. However I hear this whinning of the Pump all the time. Does anyone know if this is Normal?? Also I have changed my Stock fuel pressure regulator to an After Market Regulator and have set a Fuel pressure of 40PSI.

I dont mind the sound, but it kinda worries me if its gonna give up on me anytime. Has anybody experienced it before?

Please Help.

Hey thanks for that Gibberish. I wonder if you have any suggestions on this new observation of mine.

I've got used to the whine but after long drives I hear the whining going up and down in pitch. Could this mean its seeing a fluctuating voltage? I have checked the relays and the voltage seems okay. Could this have something to do with the FSE Pressure Valve on my Inlet Manifold??

Yup. They are cranky.
Did you upgrade to a heavier guage power and ground wire to the fuel pump?
What you could be hearing is sags in power due to line voltage loss.
walbros want all the juice they can drink. Had that in my 99gsx.
People always ask, whats that sound? LOL
Money going into the motor faster! hehehe!!
Mine is loud.

edit: You can also upgrade to a heavier relay. There are kits you can get. :-)
